Chef Koji’s warm demeanor make our customers feel at home at Kobé! His favorite part of a teppanyaki dining experience is interacting with his audience. His passion for excellent food and culinary creativity inspires him as a District Head Chef. He currently leads research and development for inspired new dishes for our customers to enjoy, and lead the growth of our omakase experience.

Chef Hirano

Chef Hirano’s friendly personality and expert cooking skills make him a customer favorite at Kobé! He is our longest tenured employee and has previously performed all front and back of house positions before finding his passion in teppanyaki cooking. His favorite part of a teppanyaki dining experience is telling fan favorite jokes. His dedication to Kobé over the past decades and culinary perfection drives him as a Master Chef and encourages him to pass along his knowledge to our chefs in training.

Chef Ichiban

TAMPA BAY AREA
Chef Ichiban’s welcoming persona makes our customers feel part of the Kobé family! His favorite part of a teppanyaki dining experience is performing skillful teppanyaki tricks. His devotion to cooking over the past decades and culinary excellence motivates him as a District Head Chef. He helped launch our West Coast FL locations, starting with Tampa in 1999, and continues to be an integral part of Kobé’s growth in the West Coast FL community.
