This is my favorite restaurant and it never disappoints. I came here with my husband, adult kids and step-son, mother, and brother-in-law for my birthday celebration. The food was delicious as always and there is something on the menu for my familiy’s diverse dietary needs. My vegetarian daughter can get her tofu, I can have my seafood & chicken, and my steak- loving husband, son, step-son , and mother are happy too. The chef was even mindful of my daughter, preparing her tofu entre before putting the seafood and meats on the grill.Our chef was a very accomplished and skillful culinary artist and comedian. We also enjoyed the sushi and the flavored Sakis, and the singing of Happy Birthday was extra festive with the drums and tambourines. I even got a birthday cupcake with a cherry on top!
We celebrated my daughter’s 14th birthday at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse and had such a fun and memorable experience! Our chef was hilarious and was constantly joking and being silly, which kept everyone entertained. I had the steak, and he went above and beyond by trimming all the fat and searing it into bite-sized pieces of rich, crispy goodness. He jokingly called it “Japanese bacon,” and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the teriyaki chicken and loved it. The staff was very attentive, keeping our drinks full throughout the meal. They made the night even more special by bringing my daughter a cupcake and singing happy birthday to her. A perfect place to celebrate!
I love Kobe, such a great value proposition, you get so much food for the money you spend. The only hibachi place that does their noodles in this plain garlic butter soy sauce style with linguine and I think it’s the best. I normally have gone to the Orlando locations, but this Tampa location was good. The chef Kawasaki and server Hannah were great.
Ichiban is the BEST!! I only want him when we come back again. He was comical! Service was fast and efficient. That’s including our server Alejandra. She was extremely sweet and attentive. SN: the bathroom was clean!! And “don’t forget to tip your bartender.” Lol 😆
This was my first time coming to a Hibachi, my husband reversed for my birthday and we only wait 5 minutes for our table to be ready. First of all JASMINE WAS AWESOME 🤩 SHE IS A SUPER STAR, Chef VINH BRO was the best of the best, he kept all of us entertained and kept the kids happy. Was an amazing experience, food and drinks were delicious 🤤 10000/10 We can’t stop talking about our experience, Jasmine keep being like that, you are amazing 🤩

Yes, Dale Mabry Kobé Japanese Steakhouse has a happy hour, Monday through Friday from Open to 6:00 PM at our Bar, Traditional Dining Room, and Teppanyaki areas. Happy hour specials include select sushi rolls ($7), small plates ($6), cocktails ($8), Bud Light draft ($5), and smoothies ($5).
